Maxwell Lord ( Peter Facinelli) revealed that Non and Indigo released a failsafe plan in case their mind control was broken. It felt like such an easy win for the team, but their problems weren’t over yet. The Myriad was already done with rather fast, but we did get to see Kara give a big emotional speech on hope broadcasting all over National City. It was good to see that Eliza ( Helen Slater) managed to get through to Alex before she really went in for the kill. The fight between them was really impressive, but it was resolved quickly just as the episode started. We left off from last week’s major turn point when Alex ( Chyler Leigh) was under the mind control of the Myriad, forcing her to fight against Kara. ![]() The pacing, however, didn’t diminish the overall quality of the episode. The one major let down from the season finale was the pacing with some of the big action scenes and there were no proper resolutions for Kara and her team. The season finale brought everything together as Kara ( Melissa Benoist) had to face her biggest challenge as she had to save humanity from the Myriad being controlled by Non ( Chris Vance) and Indigo ( Laura Vandervoort).
